Leisure
Yes, I am in Nigeria to do research, but I intend to have plenty of fun this year (of course my research is fun, too)! I have been advised by many wise peers from MSU and elsewhere that have already conducted their dissertation research abroad that I should take breaks - taking time to enjoy the places and spend time with people beyond the research settings. Work hard, play hard.
I have made many wonderful friends already. Shout out to two new friends who have helped me become acquainted with Enugu: thank you Kemsy and Joshua!
